Standing trees. We don't do tree work — call an arborist or tree service to fell them. Once they're cut into manageable pieces (8 ft sections, 12" diameter or less), we haul.
Tree stumps still in ground. Need to be ground or excavated by a stump grinder first. We haul the ground-down debris afterward.
Soil and dirt. Limited amounts okay, but full truckloads of dirt have weight surcharges and are usually cheaper to take to a dirt-only dump yourself.
Sod removal in bulk. Same as dirt — heavy and expensive to dump. We can quote case-by-case.
Sioux Falls gets two patterns: spring windstorms that drop branches, and ice storms that snap trees. After major events, our phone rings off the hook for 3-5 days. Tips for getting served fast:
Yard debris is lighter and bulkier per dollar. Branches and leaves take up tons of truck space but weigh almost nothing, so we charge by truck-fullness, not weight. Most yard jobs are quarter-to-half truck.
Yard debris goes to a Metro composting facility, not the landfill. We can't take dyed mulch, treated lumber, or lawn chemicals — those go in regular waste streams.
Yes — for an extra $30-$50 we'll bag and haul. Most customers find it cheaper to pile and let us load loose into the truck.
